Cree settles patent dispute with EMSON involving LEDs incorporated into flashlight products

Client(s) Cree, Inc.

Jones Day represented Cree, Inc. in bringing a suit against E. Mishan & Sons in the District of Massachusetts for patent infringement concerning light emitting diode (LED) products incorporated into certain flashlights sold by EMSON in the United States, and for which Cree alleged infringement of five utility patents and one design patent. The matter settled in July, 2017.
