Imagination defends its computing and graphics systems from infringement claims in ITC

Client(s) Imagination Technologies Limited

Jones Day represented Imagination Technologies Limited in an ITC patent infringement matter relating to Certain Computing or Graphics Systems, Components Thereof, and Vehicles Containing Same, filed on behalf of Advanced Silicon Technologies LLC ("AST") in which AST asserted multiple patents against the graphics processing units of various chip manufacturers incorporating Imagination's designs. The infringement allegations included multiple end products incorporating chips using the graphics processors. The investigation terminated based on a settlement with the chip manufacturers and end product makers without participation by Imagination.
