Atmel delists shares of Common Stock from Euronext Paris

Jones Day assisted Atmel Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of microcontrollers, capacitive touch solutions, advanced logic, mixed-signal, nonvolatile memory, and radio frequency components, with the delisting of shares of its Common Stock from Euronext Paris. In connection with the delisting, a voluntary sales facility procedure was conducted to enable stockholders holding shares through Euroclear France to sell their shares prior to the closing of Atmel's pending merger with Microchip Technology Incorporated. The delisting of Atmel shares from Euronext Paris was effected on December 21, 2015 and removal from the operations of Euroclear France was completed on December 30, 2015.
