SRE Capital forms SRE Asian Asset Income Fund

Jones Day represented SRE Capital Pte. Ltd. in connection with the establishment of the SRE Asian Asset Income Fund (the "Fund"), its flagship open-ended investment vehicle focusing on the ownership of equity and debt securities of publicly listed REITs, asset-backed trusts, and other real estate and infrastructure companies in the Asia Pacific. The Fund raised approximately US$100 million in its initial closing and is targeting an AUM of US$350 million. As part of the establishment of the Fund, Jones Day also advised the Fund on its S$87 million acquisition from an affiliate of a portfolio of securities which are listed on various stock exchanges in Asia.
