Tech company resolves DOL audit

Jones Day represented a tech company with multi-state operations with respect to an audit of the Company's compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), as well as with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), being conducted by the United States Department of Labor (DOL). After discovery, which included multiple requests for information that we were able to confine to the retail location at issue, and explanations of FMLA and FLSA policies and practices, the DOL concluded its investigation without making any formal findings against the Company.
