Jones Day advised AeroScout Inc. in its sale to Stanley Healthcare Solutions, a division of Stanley Black & Decker, for approximately $238.8 million. AeroScout is a market leader in Real-time Location Systems for healthcare and industrial customers and invented the first Wi-Fi-based Active RFID tag. AeroScout customers improve operational efficiency using AeroScout products that leverage standard Wi-Fi-networks to track and manage the location, condition and status of mobile assets and people. The acquisition will accelerate the growth trajectory of Stanley Healthcare Solutions, as well as augment the industrial and security offerings of Stanley Black & Decker. The combined entity will transform operations, supply chain management, and safety for healthcare and industrial customers around the world.
