Bunge purchases assets of MCN BioProducts

Client(s) Bunge North America, Inc.

Jones Day represented Bunge Global Innovation in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Canadian technology company MCN Bioproducts Inc. The focus of the transaction were the IP assets of MCN, which include IP related to the conversion of canola and rapeseed meals into nutritionally dense concentrates that can be used as food in aquaculture diets, such as for farm raised fish. Jones Day provided the IP specialist support for the transaction in conjunction with lawyers from Canadian firm Gowlings.
