Macquarie Capital provides financing to LHI in connection with acquisition of aircraft engines

Client(s) Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc.

Jones Day advised Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc. in connection with the financing provided to LHI for the acquisition of aircraft engines, secured by mortgages over the engines, assignments of the engine leases and share security, in addition to other ancillary security. The borrower and purchaser of the engines was a foreign entity and the engines were on lease to airlines worldwide, requiring a careful analysis of the relevant jurisdictions for the engine mortgages.
