Elecnor constructs and finances natural gas pipeline in Mexico

Client(s) Elecnor, S.A.

Jones Day advised Elecnor, S.A. a Spanish company, in connection with the US$275 million project financing for the construction, installation, start-up, and operation of a pipeline in the State of Morelos, Mexico. In November 2011, Jones Day also advised Elecnor on a public bid called by CFE (Comisión Federal de Electricidad), which involved construction and operation of a natural gas pipeline and the execution of a natural gas transportation agreement for this project.
