Riverside acquires Central Power Products

Client(s) Riverside Company, The

Jones Day advised Nordco, Inc., a portfolio company of The Riverside Company and a designer and manufacturer of railroad maintenance-of-way (MOW) machinery for the railroad industry in the United States, in its acquisition of Central Power Products, Inc. (CPP), a manufacturer of railcar movers. CPP manufactures under the brand name "Shuttlewagon" and utilizes rubber tires to provide superior traction and a cushioned drive system that protects vital drivetrain components from excessive wear and tear.
