Laura Tielemans advises on domestic and cross-border litigation and commercial arbitration for major national and international corporations across a wide range of sectors including distribution, telecommunications, and technology. She has experience negotiating and drafting commercial contracts.
Laura also advises a diverse group of clients on European and Belgian cybersecurity and data protection matters in areas of EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy Regulation (ePR) compliance, data breach response plans, and incident management.
Laura began her career in 2009 at the Brussels Bar and later worked for a U.S. law firm in Brussels. She also performed doctoral research on privacy issues and the freedom to conduct business at Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, was involved in data protection research while attending New York University, and has published peer-reviewed articles on data protection.
Laura is a member of the Legal & Taxation Committee of AmCham Belgium (American Chamber of Commerce in Belgium).
