As a former officer in the corporate tax audit department of the Osaka Regional Taxation Bureau, one of Japan's major tax enforcement authorities, Taku Osawa has extensive experience in tax controversy and transfer pricing matters. His work includes representing clients in tax audits, filing administrative appeals against tax assessments, conducting tax litigation, preparing transfer pricing documentation, submitting advance pricing agreement applications, and drafting intercompany transaction agreements.

Taku also has extensive experience in real property and global dispute matters. For more than 20 years, he has handled real property redevelopment matters and represented clients in Japanese court proceedings involving a wide range of global disputes. In addition, he served as an outside board member of a real estate company for 10 years.
