Susan Kessler represents financial institutions and other entities as a litigator in structured product disputes and other complex commercial matters. She has experience working with residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS), collateralized debt obligations (CDOs), and other asset-backed securities.
Susan is currently part of a team defending an international banking and financial services company in various RMBS disputes, including RMBS trustee, master servicing, and servicing claims, and is also part of a team advising financial institutions on remediation plans for the upcoming cessation of LIBOR and the Eleventh District Cost of Funds Index (COFI). She has also advised clients in connection with Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) arbitrations, as well as a Tenth Circuit challenge of a FINRA arbitration award. Susan was recently part of a team that successfully represented a minority owner of a professional sports team in connection with a multibillion dollar valuation dispute.
Susan serves on the board of the River City Brass Band.
