Joe Hatina has advised private equity funds and private businesses on hundreds of closed transactions over the past 25 years and prides himself on being a pragmatic, solutions-oriented deal advisor. Joe has also acted as the primary point of contact for dozens of portfolio companies of private equity funds. He has extensive experience in leveraged buyouts, venture capital transactions, financial and corporate restructurings, debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate counseling. In addition, Joe advises emerging growth companies on securing and protecting intellectual property rights, forming joint ventures and strategic alliances, and engaging in technology transfer and commercialization of intellectual property activities.
The clients with which Joe has worked include American Pacific Group, Dorilton Capital Advisors, Grey Mountain Partners, LeBaronBrown Industries, Morgenthaler Partners, Peterson Partners, RedNest Partners, Rockwood Equity Partners, The Riverside Company, and Wall Family Enterprises.
In community activities, Joe is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth. Joe is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2005. He serves as the Cleveland Office liaison to the Collaborative to End Human Trafficking, which is an organization whose mission is to support the fundamental human right to freedom by educating and advocating for the prevention and abolishment of human trafficking.
