Max Baur is a certified specialist in labor and employment law whose practice spans the full spectrum of individual and collective employment matters, with a strong litigation focus. He represents companies in dismissal protection and other labor litigation matters before German Labor Courts. Max is experienced in arbitration committee proceedings (Einigungsstelle), bringing a pragmatic approach to resolving collective labor law conflicts. He regularly advises on negotiations with works councils and trade unions, in particular in the context of restructurings. Max counsels employers on the structuring of employment and termination agreements and on employment issues arising in corporate transactions and M&A deals, with particular emphasis on post-merger integration projects.
His recent work has focused on complex restructurings and litigation projects concerning employee (virtual) stock option plans.
