Jones Day's Bret Stancil Named to Silicon Valley Business Journal's "40 Under 40" List

Jones Day Corporate partner Bret Stancil has been named to the Silicon Valley Business Journal's 2026 "40 Under 40" list, which recognizes professionals under the age of 40 shaping their industries and communities.

Mr. Stancil advises public and private companies, boards and founders on mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and other strategic transactions across the technology sector, including software, artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, consumer technology, and healthcare technology.  His practice spans public and private company transactions, private equity investments and exits, and the corporate governance matters that arise alongside significant strategic transactions.

Mr. Stancil's representative experience includes advising SAP SE on its acquisition of Reltio, Inc., a master data management software provider; KKR, in its capacity as the holder of a majority of OneStream, Inc.'s voting power, in connection with the acquisition of OneStream by Hg, General Atlantic, and Tidemark; and Lyft, Inc. in connection with numerous transactions, including its acquisition of the United Kingdom business of Gett.
