Private equity lawyer Hannah Luqmani joins Jones Day's Corporate Practice in London
Hannah Luqmani has joined Jones Day as of counsel in the Corporate Practice. She is based in the Firm's London Office.
Ms. Luqmani has more than 13 years of experience advising top-tier sponsors, asset managers, investment banks and corporate legal departments on cross-border private equity transactions. She has worked on deals across a broad spectrum of private equity mandates, including auction sales and leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, co-investments, minority investments and preferred equity investments. Ms. Luqmani has particular experience advising private equity deal teams at one of the world's largest investment banks within its corporate equity, infrastructure, growth equity and hybrid capital portfolios.
"Hannah has advised a number of major private equity funds and their portfolio companies on high-stakes corporate transactions, including multiple deals with enterprise values in excess of $1 billion," said Vica Irani, Co-Leader of Jones Day's Corporate Practice. At Jones Day, Ms. Luqmani joins the Firm's global Corporate Practice, which encompasses M&A and Private Equity. In the last five years, Jones Day has advised clients on more than 3,000 M&A transactions collectively valued at $1.5 trillion, and many of the world's leading private equity funds are counseled by Jones Day in the full range of corporate transactions.

Ms. Luqmani graduated from BPP Law School (Legal Practice Course), Oxford Brookes University (Graduate Diploma in Law) and the University of Nottingham (Bachelor of Arts (Honors)). She has been recognized by Legal 500 UK for excellence in "Private Equity Transactions – High Value Deals."
