Energy Alloys secures unanimous jury verdict and $2.3 million judgment arising from former executive's fraud

Jones Day secured a unanimous jury verdict after a three-day trial in Texas state court on behalf of its client Energy Alloys Global Solutions - Americas LLC ("Energy Alloys"). The jury found for Energy Alloys on all causes of action, including fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, and conspiracy, and awarded $1 million in exemplary damages stemming from a unanimous finding of malice. Jones Day previously secured settlements with several other defendants prior to trial.
