Jones Day represented Banco Santander, S.A., as agent, Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., and La Caixa in connection with the €44 million (US$54.1 million) project financing for the construction and operation of the Cova da Serpe, La Vega I, and La Vega II windparks with a total generating capacity of 33.6 MW located in Burgos, Spain and promoted by Gecal, S.A.
