Jones Day moved for return of property seized in connection with Arizona's civil forfeiture suit against an international client under State's RICO statute. The State alleged an enterprise that conducted internet gambling using an offshore website. The court ordered the return of all of the seized property and denied the State's motion to reconsider. Jones Day thereafter negotiated a favorable resolution of both the civil forfeiture case and a parallel criminal case.
