Jones Day's Andy Luger among Twin Cities Business' "TCB 100" for 2026
Jones Day partner Andy Luger, former U.S. Attorney for Minnesota, has been named to Twin Cities Business' "TCB 100" for 2026. This annual list—selected by the Twin Cities Business editorial staff—highlights business leaders, trailblazers, and innovators who are poised to make an impression in the year ahead.
Mr. Luger represents local and global companies on investigations and civil litigation in Minnesota, across the United States, and throughout Europe and the Middle East. Most recently, Mr. Luger was awarded with the ATF Director's Award for Exceptional Service, the Minneapolis Police Department Leadership Award, and the Minnesota County Attorney's Association Meritorious Service Award.
Mr. Luger returned to Jones Day in 2025 after serving a second term as U.S. Attorney for Minnesota under the Biden administration. He was first appointed U.S. Attorney by President Obama. During his two tenures, Mr. Luger supervised large-scale, complex white-collar cases, including numerous high-profile prosecutions for corporate embezzlement and trade secret matters—as well as criminal cases related to violent extremism and hate crimes, human trafficking, and gang-related activity. His focus on violent crime during his second term as U.S. Attorney led to the indictment of more than 100 Minneapolis gang members for RICO and related charges, and his office charged 70 defendants in the massive Feeding Our Future COVID-19 fraud case involving more than $250 million in fraudulently obtained child nutrition funds.
