Cyril Philibert advises and represents French and international clients before civil and commercial courts and in connection with judicial expert opinions, civil enforcement proceedings, and the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.

He handles complex commercial and industrial litigation, particularly in the areas of corporate law (mergers and acquisitions, post-sale disputes, and shareholder disputes) and product liability (nonconformity, hidden defects, and liability for defective products).

He assists industrial groups, particularly those in the energy sector, in technically sensitive cases involving the coordination of experts and technical teams. Among his most significant recent cases are disputes related to a massive recall of food products for noncompliance with regulations, the alleged defectiveness of welding materials and an industrial filtration system installed in a foundry, as well as hidden defects affecting combined-cycle gas power plants.

Cyril also handles high-profile ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and environmental litigation, particularly in matters of greenwashing, duty of care, and mass environmental litigation involving PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), both at the stage of expert proceedings and proceedings on the merits.
