Pat Leddy has helped companies successfully complete acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures for more than 25 years while earning BTI Client Service All-Star and MVP recognitions. He has substantial experience in multijurisdictional, cross-border, and international transactions, advising on transactions around the world, including Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. Pat has been the lead outside M&A lawyer for a number of clients for years, creating a deep understanding of their business, strategic goals, risk tolerances, and deal practices. He also has substantial experience in advising and resolving complex contractual disputes, particularly in the aerospace industry, and post-closing transaction disputes.

Pat's recent representative matters include advising: Parker Hannifin on its £6.3 billion acquisition of Meggitt and its $1.725 billion acquisition of Exotic Metals Forming Company; Ferro on the $460 million sale of its global Tile Coatings Business; Sotera Health/Nelson Labs on its acquisitions of BioScience Laboratories and Iotron Industries; RPM International on its acquisition of a number of construction material distributors in Puerto Rico, Panama, and the Dominican Republic; and Toyota Tsusho and Sapporo Holdings on the sale of Country Pure Foods.

Pat is a frequent speaker on a variety of M&A matters, including representation and warranty insurance, contractual disputes, and international M&A and joint ventures. He is also an active member of the American Bar Association's Negotiated Acquisition Committee.
