Sophie's ervaring op het gebied van mergers & acquisitions omvat onder meer het adviseren van JBS, 's werelds grootste vleesverwerker, bij de overname van het plantaardige eiwitmerk Vivera; SHV Energy bij het opzetten van een joint venture met UGI Corporation voor de ontwikkeling van oplossingen voor hernieuwbare energie en de verkoop van SHV Energy's LPG-activiteiten Primagaz in Nederland aan DCC; Husqvarna bij de overname van Blastrac, een toonaangevende leverancier van oppervlaktebehandelingstechnologieën voor de wereldwijde bouw- en saneringsindustrie; PETRONAS Chemicals bij de overname van Da Vinci Group van Bencis Capital Partners (€ 163 miljoen); en Garmin bij de overname van Tacx, de toonaangevende fabrikant van indoor fietstrainers.

Sophie adviseerde Total ook bij de verkoop van zijn chemische divisie Atotech aan The Caryle Group (3,2 miljard dollar), Hermes Microvision bij de verkoop aan ASML Holding in een volledig contante transactie (3,1 miljard dollar), NEP Group bij de overname van Consolidated Media Industries, een belangrijke dienstverlener in de olie- en gassector, bij de verkoop van een dochteronderneming in Oman, en een in de Golf gevestigde investeringsgroep bij een investering van meerdere miljoenen dollars in een olie- en gasexploratieproject in Europa.
