Kevin Samuels is the head of transactional practices for the Cleveland Office.

With more than 20 years of experience, he represents corporations, private equity firms, direct lenders, and financial institutions across a broad range of transactional and commercial financing matters. His practice centers on leveraged finance, cross-border transactions, asset-based financing, and acquisition-related credit facilities.

Kevin regularly advises prominent private equity sponsors, including The Riverside Company, Blue Point Capital, Cortec Group, HCI Equity Partners, High Road Capital, Kirtland Capital, MPE Capital, Norwest Equity Partners, Radial Equity Partners, and Swander Pace Capital. He also counsels major corporate clients such as Avient, Cleveland-Cliffs, Gulftech International, La-Z-Boy, Marathon Petroleum, MPLX, Nordson, PHINIA, Sherwin-Williams, TransDigm Group, and WESCO International.

Beyond his practice, Kevin serves on the Cleveland Office's Hiring Committee and Recruiting Committee. He is also a member of the board of directors of The Gathering Place, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting families affected by cancer.
