Chance McCraw represents clients in health care and complex commercial litigation matters, including government investigations, arbitrations, and federal and state court matters. He defends clients accused of violating the False Claims Act (FCA) in the investigatory and trial preparation stages. Chance also has extensive experience litigating payor-provider disputes.

Chance has experience representing clients opposite relators and the United States Department of Justice. His experience includes defending clients in the laboratory, hospital, and home health industries. He has represented these clients across multiple jurisdictions.

He also represents clients seeking recoupment for the underpayment of medical services. His experience includes in-network and out-of-network disputes. He has helped successfully resolve these disputes throughout the United States, including jurisdictions without applicable caselaw.

Chance maintains a busy pro bono practice representing veterans and religious liberty issues. He represents veterans in appeals of their disability claims. He also assists clients against government actors infringing on their right to free exercise of their religion.

Prior to attending law school, Chance served in the United States Army as an infantry officer and then as a military intelligence officer where he held a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. He is also an Eagle Scout within the Boy Scouts of America Organization.
