Hannah Luqmani

Hannah Luqmani is a seasoned deal lawyer with a broad skill set who routinely leads a range of UK and cross-border complex M&A transactions for mid-market and large-cap private equity funds and their portfolio companies and for large, heavily regulated corporates.

Hannah has advised clients across the full spectrum of private equity M&A mandates: auction sales, leveraged buyouts, management equity plans, bespoke carve-outs, joint ventures, co-investments, preference investments, minority equity investments, convertible instrument investments, and investments via uniquely customized debt instruments with equity-like features. In 2022, Hannah served a secondment as a senior deal lawyer with Goldman Sachs AM Private in London, where she advised deal teams on private equity, infrastructure, growth equity, and private credit deals.

Hannah is adept at managing complex cross-border transactions to ensure seamless delivery. Hannah has advised a mixture of domestic and international clients and has extensive experience advising U.S. and Nordic clients on their investments in Europe. Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, she advised: AEA Investors, BlackRock, Francisco Partners, Goldman Sachs, Lazarus, Nordic Capital, Nalka Invest, Norstat, Uniwater, Trill Impact, and Nordomatic. Hannah has advised on M&A deals with businesses involved in business services (white collar [including technology enabled/automated] and blue collar [including water]), industrials, aerospace and defense, infrastructure, supply chain/logistics, SaaS (software as a service)/technology, cyber security, retail, financial services, and health care and life sciences.
