Caroline Gregson is a trusted advisor on international energy and infrastructure projects. Caroline has more than two decades of experience advising on and leading UK and international debt financed projects, handling complex matters involving renewable energy, energy storage, biofuels, natural capital, natural resources, shipping, aviation, and social infrastructure (including hospitals and student accommodation).

Examples of her experience prior to joining Jones Day include advising: legal and commercial teams on their financing of a platform to fund energy efficiency investments and renovations in residential buildings in Lithuania; the lenders on the hybrid financing of a portfolio of anaerobic digesting and composting sites; an infrastructure fund on its fund-level revolving credit facility covering an international portfolio of multitechnology assets; an energy company on its first battery storage project that involved navigating through a unique contractual structure and addressing the resulting interface and cashflow risks; an institutional investor on the financing of a portfolio of community-owned solar projects; and a global student accommodation provider on various bond financings of university accommodation in the United Kingdom.
