Tara Kowalski named among "Women to Watch" by Business Insurance

Jones Day partner Tara Kowalski has been selected for Business Insurance's "Women to Watch" list. The program recognizes women leaders for outstanding work in commercial insurance, including risk management.

Ms. Kowalski, a partner in the Insurance Recovery Practice in Jones Day's Los Angeles Office, has secured more than $1 billion in insurance recoveries and is a trusted advisor to companies across a broad range of industries. Most recently, she secured a significant victory before the California Court of Appeals on a key insurance coverage issue involving the number of occurrences in negligent hiring and supervision claims. Recognized for her insights into evolving risks reshaping the insurance industry, she recently published commentaries on artificial intelligence exclusions and guidance for policyholders navigating insurance claims arising from the 2025 Los Angeles fires.

Ms. Kowalski serves on the Board of Directors of the California Women's Law Center, which is "dedicated solely to addressing the comprehensive and unique legal needs of women and girls one of the nation's leading organizations dedicated to championing the rights of women and girls."
