Alex Exact practices litigation with a focus on complex intellectual property (IP) disputes.
Alex advises on a wide variety of IP rights including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Recent experience includes representing a major American airline regarding a trademark licensing dispute; acting in various multijurisdictional patent infringement proceedings in the wireless communications and the aerospace sectors; defending a multinational pharmaceutical company in trademark cancellation proceedings before the United Kingdom's Intellectual Property Office Tribunal; and acting in proceedings for passing off.
Alex has additional experience handling contractual disputes, injunctive relief, and investigations, and he continues to act for the liquidators of the BHS Group of companies in their high-profile investigations into one of the largest retail collapses in the United Kingdom. He also has significant experience in the Court of Appeal.
