Island Green Power obtains £315 million holdco financing from Nomura and Barclays for UK solar and battery portfolio

Client(s) Island Green Power Limited

Jones Day advised Island Green Power Limited, a leading developer of utility-scale solar projects and battery storage projects in the UK, in respect of a £315 million holdco debt financing provided by Nomura and Barclays. The financing will be used for the refinancing of existing debt as well as to support future growth of the business into an independent power producer. IGP is behind several Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects in the UK, including the Cottam Solar Farm (600 MW) and the West Burton Solar Farm (480 MW). IGP is 100% owned by Macquarie Asset Management.
