VMware acquires CloudVolumes

Jones Day advised VMware, Inc., in its acquisition of CloudVolumes, Inc., a leading provider of real-time application delivery technology that enables enterprises to easily deliver native applications to virtualized environments on-demand. The acquisition will enable VMware to build real-time application delivery across all three of its technology focus areas that include end-user computing, software-defined data center and hybrid cloud services.
