SAP secures closure of abuse of dominance investigation by German FCO with no finding of abuse

Client(s) SAP SE

Jones Day successfully represented SAP SE ("SAP") in the German Federal Cartel Office's ("FCO") abuse of dominance investigation into SAP, dismissing a complaint by competitor Celonis SE alleging that SAP impeded data extraction by third parties from its enterprise resource planning systems. The FCO determined that these allegations had not been substantiated and decided not to initiate formal proceedings against SAP.
