Jones Day represents Puma Biotechnology, Inc. ("Puma") in the establishment and management of global patent portfolios for its oncology assets, including NERLYNX® (neratinib) for the extended adjuvant treatment of adult patients with early-stage HER2-positive breast cancer and alisertib for select breast and lung cancer indications. In addition to portfolio management, the Firm advises on and implements patent term extension strategies across multiple territories, including Europe and South America, to maximize the commercial lifespan of Puma's intellectual property. Jones Day also handles European opposition proceedings relating to NERLYNX® (neratinib).
