Jones Day represented Competitive Power Ventures in connection with its acquisition from an affiliate of Deeprock Energy Resources of approximately 327 acres of land in Ward County, Texas, together with related easements, and as Texas counsel for real estate, environmental and permitting matters in connection with its loan in the amount of $1.12 billion from the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) through PUCT’s Texas Energy Fund program.
