Intesa Sanpaolo acts as arranger and senior investor on new securitization of loans issued by Fincontinuo for €177 million

Jones Day assisted Intesa Sanpaolo, as arranger and (through its conduit platform) senior investor, as well as the other mezzanine and junior institutional investors, in the new securitization of salary and secured loans assisted by the sale/delegation of one-fifth of salary/pension (so-called "CQS") granted by Fincontinuo S.p.A., for a total amount up to approximately €177 million. The securitization was implemented through the issuance by the special purpose vehicle named “Smeralda SPV S.r.l." of three classes of notes, in accordance with Law 130/1999.
