Asian-headquartered energy company resolves Dutch competition authority investigation

Jones Day advised a bunker supplier and trading subsidiary of an Asian-headquartered energy company in connection with the investigation by De Autoriteit Consument en Markt (ACM), the Dutch Competition Authority, into suspected consultation on pricing in the bunker sector in the Amsterdam – Rotterdam – Antwerp region. The ACM ultimately determined that no cartel was formed and terminated its investigation.
