Citigroup Global Markets and Natixis complete €80 million rights offering and related private placement by Genfit

Jones Day advised Citigroup Global Markets Limited and Natixis in connection with the €80 million capital increase by Genfit, a biopharmaceutical company at the forefront of developing therapeutic and diagnostic solutions to address high unmet patient needs in metabolic and inflammatory diseases, with a particular focus on the liver and gastroenterology. The capital increase was done in two phases:  a private placement reserved for the benefit of a specific category of investors for €34 million and a rights offering of approximately €45 million.
