Jones Day successfully represented Kraft Heinz Foods Company and three individual defendants in an employment case alleging that it wrongfully terminated a supervisor based on his age, sex, and reporting of alleged sanitation violations. The court granted Kraft Heinz's motion to dismiss on all counts concluding, as the company argued, that Plaintiff's allegations amounted to time-barred whistleblower claims despite Plaintiff's attempts to characterize them otherwise.
