IBM secures dismissal of all claims in trademark litigation

Client(s) International Business Machines Corporation

Jones Day successfully represented International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) in a trademark infringement litigation filed against IBM in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Plaintiff alleged that IBM was infringing its rights to "accelerated analytics". IBM counterclaimed seeking cancellation of the registration and moved to dismiss the case. The parties then engaged in written discovery after which Plaintiff agreed to the dismissal of all claims.
