Goldman Sachs participates in $2.6 billion capital raise by IHS Towers

Jones Day represented existing investor Goldman Sachs International in connection with the $2.6 billion capital raise by IHS Towers, Africa's leading independent mobile telecommunications infrastructure provider.

This represents the largest equity raise in Africa since 2007. IHS has raised $2 billion in equity alongside a loan facility of $600 million. This latest equity investment was secured from existing and new shareholders.
