Invenergy Clean Power partners with Enesa Energia S.A. de C.V. in joint venture for project development in Mexico

Jones Day advised Invenergy Clean Power LLC, in a partnership with Enesa Energía S.A. de C.V. which will join Mexichem S.A.B. de C.V., as a consortium, which participated in a selection process to develop a cogeneration project, with a capacity of 530 MW and 800 tons of steam an hour.  The consortium was selected to develop the project and is expected to start construction of the same on the first half of 2018, in a region located in Villahermosa, Tabasco. For the development of the project, the consortium will enter into a JV with the company MGC Cactus S.A.P.I. de C.V., a subsidiary of Pemex Gas y Petroquímica Básica.
