Diamond S Shipping reaches settlement with Overseas Shipholding Group

Client(s) Diamond S Shipping, LLC

Jones Day represented seven affiliates of Diamond S Shipping, in connection with claims they filed against Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. ("OSG") and various affiliates, chapter 11 debtors.  The claims were predicated upon claims arising in connection with the debtors' rejection of certain agreements, and the related guarantee of OSG executed in connection with said agreement. Jones Day was able to assist Diamond S Shipping in negotiating and structuring a settlement of all claims against OSG, which settlement was approved in February 2014.
