Jones Day prepares report for Bosnia and Herzegovina on anti-discrimination laws
Client(s) Public International Law & Policy Group (PILPG)
Jones Day submitted a memorandum setting forth five European case studies on enactment and implementation of anti-discrimination laws, in support of PILPG's efforts in that regard in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The memorandum looks at the experience of Slovenia, Romania, Finland, Poland and Belgium.
Edwin Fountain, Jones Day Washington, and Brian Easley, Jones Day Chicago, headed up the project. Associates David Birnbaum and Ed Richards assisted Brian in editing the final report. The case studies themselves were prepared by a team of eight lawyers from three different Jones Day offices, including Wendy Aeschlimann and Stephanie Holmes (Chicago), Nickou Oskoui and Amanda Suzuki (Dallas), and Sherron McClain (Washington), with the assistance of our international law librarian Ronnie Schulman here in Washington.
