Jones Day represented Banco Santander, S.A. who acted as financial advisor and dealer manager to Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, in connection with its acquisition of Telvent GIT, S.A. and the related tender offer for 5.50% Senior Subordinated Convertible Notes. The total transaction value was approximately $2.0 billion (€1.4 billion) on an enterprise value basis.
