Jones Day advised Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A.; Banco de Sabadell, S.A.; Banco Español de Crédito, S.A., Banco Santander, S.A.; Bankia, S.A.U.; Bankinter, S.A.; Caja de Ahorros y Pensiones de Barcelona (La Caixa); and Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO) in connection with the €293 million (US$418 million) project financing for the construction and operation of La Africana, a solar thermal power plant with a total generating capacity of 50 MW located in Cordoba, Spain, and promoted by Grupo Ortiz, Grupo TSK, and Grupo Magtel.
