Meyer Bergman purchases Burlington Arcade, the UK's oldest shopping mall, along with Thor Equities

Jones Day represented Meyer Bergman, Ltd., a European real estate investment and fund management firm, in its £104 million (US$167.7 million) purchase, along with Thor Equities, of Burlington Arcade, the United Kingdom's oldest shopping mall.

The acquisition has been structured as an 80/20 joint venture, but U.S. investor Thor Equities has an option to increase its stake to 50 per cent by summer 2011.
