Stallergenes licenses allergy medicine for house dust mites immunotherapy to Shionogi

Jones Day's Paris, Tokyo and San Diego offices represented Stallergenes S.A. in a distribution and license agreement involving Actair (tm) tablets for providing immunotherapy to allergies for house dust mites in Japan and Taiwan. Under the terms of the agreement, Shionogi & Co will conduct clinical trials in Japan using Stallergenes' proprietary formulation and seek/obtain regulatory approval, and Stallergenes will manufacture and supply the product to Shionogi for its distribution in the territory. Stallergenes will receive an immediate upfront payment of Euros 24 million, up to Euros 46 million in development and regulatory milestones payments, as well as sales milestones and royalties.
