Franco Associates and Franco Holdings settle mechanics' lien with owner/developer of hotel construction project

Client(s) Franco Associates and Franco Holdings, Inc.

Jones Day successfully represented Franco Associates and Franco Holdings, Inc. as a masonry contractor in connection with unpaid fees and expenses of over $1 million from a general contractor on a multi-million dollar hotel construction project. We filed a mechanics' lien against the owner/developer. Our client and the owner/developer reached an agreement whereby a substantial amount of the unpaid fees and expenses were paid by the owner/developer and our client continued to perform as a masonry contractor for the owner/developer.
