Jones Day represented Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, S.A., as agent, Banco de Sabadell, Banco Santander, Banesto, Caja Madrid, Instituto de Credito Oficial (ICO), and La Caixa in connection with the €288 million (US$384 million) project financing for the construction and operation of a thermosolar plant with a total generating capacity of 49.9 MW located in Badajoz, Spain, and promoted by Elecnor, S.A., a Spain-based company engaged in the promotion, development and administration of projects within the energy, telecommunications, transport and environmental sectors.
